Dangerous goods are materials or items that can pose a threat to people, property, or the environment when transported by air.

While some items—like explosives or toxic substances—are clearly hazardous, others might be less obvious.  Everyday products such as aerosols, fragrances, and devices containing lithium batteries (like vapes, smartphones and laptops) are also considered dangerous goods and are subject to strict transport regulations.

Air travel safety is a shared responsibility, and understanding the rules around carrying dangerous goods is essential for all passengers. Whether you're packing everyday items like batteries or more specialised equipment, certain materials may pose risks if not handled correctly.
