UAS Specific Category Operations

Course overview

The UAS Specific Category Operations course will guide the participant through the process for conducting operations in the specific category. We will cover Standard Scenarios (STS), Pre-Defined Risk Assessments (PDRA), the Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) process, and Light UAS Certificates (LUC), how to draft a comprehensive safety portfolio including operations manual, and additional State requirements and guidance material.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion participants should have an understanding of the standard scenarios and PDRAs available, the SORA process, State requirements, and LUCs. They should be able to complete a SORA and draft the required comprehensive safety portfolio.
