Travel Business Collapse Information
The Irish Aviation Authority operates consumer protection schemes. Affected customers may be covered in the event of a collapse of a Travel Agent or Tour Operator licensed by the Irish Aviation Authority where they purchased a package including travel departing Ireland. Customers may also be covered if they purchased travel only commencing in Ireland.
There is separate consumer protection to cover customers that bought travel packages sold elsewhere in Europe.
