AirNav Ireland ANSP Capital Expenditure Monitoring
Below we publish Biannual updates on the timelines for delivery of AirNav Ireland’s Capital Expenditure Projects. We also publish annual capital cost reports on AirNav Ireland’s major Capex projects and major Capex groupings.
As set out in Ireland's RP4 Performance Plan, we considered that it is unlikely that AirNav Ireland will be able to deliver all proposed projects within the timeframe proposed. We therefore determined to make a programme level reduction, over 2025-2029, of 30% to forecast project capitalisations, relative to AirNav Ireland’s proposal. The investment in the new ATC system, TopSky ATC One was not included in the 30% reduction.
This level of allowed expenditure is, in our view, more likely to reflect the actual level of expenditure during RP4 relative to what AirNav Ireland has proposed. The target set for the period is therefore to deliver 70% rather than 100% of the planned RP4 programme, as reported on this page.
