Air Traffic Controller Licences

Air Traffic Controller licences issued by the Authority contain ratings, rating endorsements, unit endorsements and licence endorsements in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2015_340 laying down detailed rules for air traffic controllers’ licences and certain certificates pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Aerodrome Flight Information Services Officer Licences

Aerodrome flight information services officer licences issued by the Authority contain the Aerodrome / Location where the holder may exercise the privileges of the licence. Statutory Instrument No.333 of 2000 IAA Personnel Licensing Order 2000, sets out the knowledge, Skills and experience required for the issue of an aerodrome flight information services officer licence.

Radio Officer Licences

Radio officer licences issued by the Authority contain ratings and unit / sector endorsements, indicating the type and location of the service that the holder may be provide.Statutory Instrument No. 333 of 2000 IAA Personnel Licensing Order 2000, sets out the knowledge, Skills and experience required for the issue of a radio officer licence. The term ‘radio officer’ is used in Ireland to describe aeronautical station operators as specified in ICAO Annex 1.
