The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has to approve any fees, or changes to fees, charged by the airport authorities at Cork, Dublin and Shannon Airports for access to installations needed to provide ground handling services.

The decision to approve such charges depends on whether the IAA is satisfied that four criteria are met:

  1. Relevancy
  2. Objectivity
  3. Transparency
  4. Non-discrimination

The decision to approve or not approve such fees is independent of the prevailing determination governing airport charges at Dublin airport.
