To register an imported aircraft, the Irish Aviation Authority requires a signed statement from the jurisdiction over the National Aircraft Registry of the foreign country of export indicating that the registration mark has been cancelled OR that the aircraft was never registered on their Civil Aircraft Register.
In addition, an original signed Export Certificate of Airworthiness, OR an EASA Form 52, OR a Certificate of Airworthiness validated by the exporting State as applicable is required by this Authority prior to registering an aircraft on the Irish Civil Aircraft Register.
A 60 day validity period applies in relation to the Export Certificate of Airworthiness, the EASA Form 52, or a Certificate of Airworthiness issued or validated by the Exporting State.
