Refund Credit Note - Customer Information

Key message for travel agent/tour operator customers - What should I do if I hold an unused or uncashed RCN?

There are several things you can do if you were issued an RCN and have not used it to rebook a package holiday or have not presented it to your issuing travel agent or tour operator for a cash refund, to ensure your money is protected.

You may:

book a package holiday with the travel agent or tour operator who issued the RCN as soon as possible, but no later than on or before 31 December 2024, using the RCN as part or full payment;

or

you may also transfer the RCN to another person who should book a package holiday with the issuing travel agent or tour operator no later than on or before 31 December 2024;

or

present the RCN to the issuing travel agent or tour operator to get your cash refund.

If you do not take any of the actions listed above on or before the 31 December 2024 you risk losing your money, equivalent to the value of the Refund Credit Note if your travel agent or tour operator goes out of business after that date.
