The General Aviation Safety Council of Ireland (GASCI) is a volunteer body made up of representatives from General Aviation in Ireland that was set up in 2012. It meets on a regular basis and one of its primary functions is to promote safety awareness among all those involved in the Irish GA community. The IAA is a member of the GASCI and supports its activities.
This is accomplished by:
- Organising General Aviation safety seminars
- Developing printed safety material, such as safety leaflets and posters and distributing these to GASCI organisation members and flying clubs
- GASCI website
