WARNING: T3 No drone zone in force in Dublin. If you are in the specific category, contact drones@iaa.ie for access permission requests
A temporary UAS Geographical Zone (designates as T3) has been established for National Security reasons, on the request of the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration.
T3 is in effect from the Sunday 30th of November 2025 at 1200 until Wednesday 3rd of December 2025 at 0600.
UAS (Drones) are prohibited to operate within T3 during this period, unless a specific T3 access permission has been granted by An Garda Síochána. Only operators in the specific category may request a permission.
Access permissions for T3 may be requested from An Garda Síochána by emailing the IAA at drones@iaa.ie.
The dimension of T3 are described in IAA Aeronautical Notice U.04, however the volume of T3 is coincident with the dimensions of the Dublin control zone.
T3 overlaps several existing UAS Geographical Zones which also remain in affect. Additional permission may be required depending on location. Please check below. Ensure you click through to all information boxes for full details.
Note. It is a criminal offence to operate a UAS within T3 without a specific T3 permission from An Garda Síochána.
N.B. REFERENCE ONLY, NOT TO BE USED FOR NAVIGATION!
Always consult before each flight the published TRAs, NOTAMS and UAS Geographical Zones data file.
