The Thessaloniki Forum of Airport Charges Regulators is a permanent Expert Group of the European Commission established in 2014. The mission of the Forum is to advise the European Commission on the implementation of the Airport Charges Directive (2009/12/EC) and to promote best practices in the economic regulation of airports. The Forum is composed of representatives of the national independent supervisory authorities (ISAs) for the purposes of the Directive.

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) plays an active part as a member of the Thessaloniki Forum. We have contributed to all the guidance reports published by the Forum to date and have chaired many of the working groups.
