Further update Tuesday 29 September 10:27

1stoptravel is currently going through its bookings with a view to contacting all those customers who are affected by the recent collapse.

For the convenience of those customers who have bookings which have not been paid in full, those bookings will be managed by Corrib Travel Ltd (TA0093), Unit 4 Cathedral Building, Lower Abbeygate Street, Galway.  (In the event that customers wish to deal directly with the tour operator and not with Corrib Travel they should advise this at the time and contact the tour operator directly). 1stoptravel/Corrib Travel will be contacting all these customers directly over the next few days to advise them of next steps.

For those customers who have paid in full, and where those monies have not been paid to a tour operator, they must complete a claim form  - 1stoptravel will be in touch with these customers to advise further.

Any queries from suppliers should be addressed to claims@aviationreg.ie

Any customers who purchased overseas travel from the company during the period in which it held a license and who wish to claim a refund from the bond held by the Commission for Aviation Regulation for any money that had not been passed onto the travel providers/suppliers may do so by submitting a claim. Click here to download the claim form.

The CAR will confirm in the next few days arrangements for those bookings where customers made a part payment to Travelcolumn Ltd and balance was yet to be paid - details for these arrangements will be updated in due course.

Customers who have paid in full for travel should contact the tour operator to establish the status of their booking and complete a claim form which is available here

The Commission will post further information on this site as it becomes available.
