Irish State Plan for Aviation Safety 2023-2025

The purpose of the SPAS is to outline to all stakeholders where the IAA Safety Regulation Division will target resources in the next four years in order to fulfil the State Safety Programme objective of improving safety performance.  

The SPAS is produced in two Volumes:

• Volume I: Strategic Safety Priorities, which describes the strategic safety priorities for the State for the reference period 2023-2025.
• Volume II: SPAS Actions, which describes the safety objectives and actions at the detailed level necessary to implement the strategic safety priorities.

Aviation stakeholders are invited to consider the safety objectives of the SPAS as part of their own safety management systems, as appropriate to their own operations.
