The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) invites stakeholders and members of the public to participate in a consultation on the proposed National Aviation Safeguarding Framework.

This consultation reflects the IAA’s commitment to transparency and engagement, as outlined in its Statement of Strategy on Stakeholder Engagement. The Authority is undertaking a structured process of consultation to ensure that policy development is informed by those with a clear interest in aviation safety, infrastructure, and planning.

The proposed framework sets out principles and procedures for safeguarding aviation operations from potential risks posed by surrounding developments and activities. Through this consultation, the IAA aims to strengthen policy-making, enhance public service delivery, and improve accountability.
