The IAA has published a “Methodological Consultation and Issues Paper” in relation to the performance and charging for air navigation services in Ireland for Reference Period 4 (RP4), which will cover the years 2025 to 2029. This paper commences our substantive consultation process in relation to the development of the RP4 performance plan for Ireland. The paper can be viewed at on our dedicated RP4 webpage.

The paper presents the proposed methodology of the IAA in determining the RP4 performance plan, considers emerging issues to be discussed with stakeholders, provides an indication of the IAA’s current thinking, where appropriate. The IAA will use the responses to guide its approach to the draft decision on the RP4 Performance Plan, which it intends to publish for consultation in July.
