IAA Publishes State Plan for Aviation Safety 2020-2023
31 Jul 2020
As part of the State Safety Programme the IAA produces the State Plan for Aviation Safety in Ireland (SPAS).
The purpose of the SPAS is to outline to all stakeholders where the IAA Safety Regulation Division will target resources in the next four years in order to fulfil the State Safety Programme objective of improving safety performance. The Plan includes the safety objectives, safety performance indicators and safety targets for each of the safety issues addressed, and these must be considered by regulated organisations as part of their own safety management system processes, as appropriate to their own operations.
