Guide aimed at general aviation pilots launched

10 May 2011: A book written by Kevin Glynn, aimed specifically at general aviation pilots, was launched in Dublin last night. The VFR Flying Guide, Ireland provides essential information on more than 160 airfields across the country, ranging from the smallest airfield to Dublin international airport. With one airfield per page, the type of information given includes an aerial photograph, runway length and orientation, and the availability of fuel.

The Guide was sponsored by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) and launched by IAA chief executive Eamonn Brennan. Mr. Brennan congratulated Kevin on his commitment in producing the book adding ‘this is a very significant contribution towards ensuring the safety of all those undertaking VFR flights and their passengers.'
