Consultation: Travel Trade Consumer Protection Measures

The Commissions seeks views of interested parties on possible reforms to the travel trade licensing and bonding regime. Today, we have published a consultation paper and alongside this a detailed report.
The consultation document proposes a number of possible changes which aim to ensure that the arrangements in place continue to provide financial protection to consumers should their travel agent or tour operator be unable to fulfil their obligations under contract.
The Commission seeks the views of interested parties to info@aviationreg.ie by 5pm, Friday, 29 September 2017.
