Commission responsible for new Persons with Reduced Mobility Legislation, PRM enforcement

Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2006 came into effect in Ireland and across Europe on the 26th July 2008. The principle objective of the Regulation is to make air travel more accessible for disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility. The Commission for Aviation Regulation was designated as the National Enforcement Body for this Regulation by the Irish Minister for Transport, Mr. Noel Dempsey, on the 25th July 2008.
