Clients already overseas

Clients already overseas should note that their travel tickets are still valid for travel and they should continue with travel and other arrangements as paid for and booked via Turing Ltd.

In the event that an overseas accommodation provider seeks payment from a client by virtue of the supplier remaining unpaid for that client's accommodation, the client has a three options:

  1. Pay the accommodation provider again and claim a refund from the Commission on return.
  2. Ask the accommodation provider to continue with existing arrangements and to await payment from the Commission which we will make directly once the clients signs the claim form and completes the assignment section which allows the Commission arrange a bank transfer of funds to the accommodation provider.
  3. If the accommodation provider is unwilling to allow the clients remain in the accommodation arranged via Turing Ltd or unwilling to accept a payment for the accommodation from the client, the Commission advises clients to make alternative accommodation arrangements of a standard similar to that booked. The client should claim the cost of such accommodation on return from the Commission or ask the new accommodation provider to await payment directly from the Commission. The new accommodation provider can forward the clients completed claim form duly completed and signed by the client, to the Commission directly as may be convenient for both the client and the accommodation provider.

Please ensure all claim forms are completed and are accompanied by all relevant documentation. A claim form can be downloaded by clicking on this link. If in doubt about refund entitlements, please email the Commission with your query to slatterysclaims@aviationreg.ie
