The Commission for Aviation Regulation would like to take the opportunity, given that the summer holiday period is upon us, to remind travellers that they should be vigilant that any bookings made with travel agents or tour operators should be made through licensed travel agents or tour operators. Travellers should recall that some firms trade under a different name to the registered name of their company. A list of licence holders may be viewed by clicking on the following link

Travel Agents and Tour Operators licensed by the Commission for Aviation Regulation are also bonded in relation to overseas travel arrangements. This bond is in place to provide funds for the repatriation, reimbursement and refund of customers in the unlikely event that a travel agent or tour operator fails in their contractual or financial obligations to its customers.
