14 Jun 2009

The Commission for Aviation Regulation has been working with Toolin Travel Limited to seek to establish to the status of the customers's bookings.

Customers are advised to examine their invoice from Toolin Travel Limited.

Where the invoice indicates that a booking was made on the Customer's behalf with a Tour Operator, the Customer should contact that Tour operator directly to establish the status of their travel arrangements.

Otherwise (where Toolin Travel made a booking on behalf of a customer and booked directly with the supplier without going through a Tour Operator, for example, an overseas flight and/or accommodation), the customer could contact another travel agent in their area who may be able to assist in establishing the status of the booking.

Where it becomes clear that oveseas travel, booked through Toolin Travel Limited during the period of its license, will not proceed and/or all or part of monies paid to Toolin Travel have not been passed to the supplier/s (i.e. tour operator and other suppliers) in question, customers may make a claim for a refund from the Commission (See link below to the claim form, which also explains the scope of eligible claims).

Customers seking up-to-date information are advised to consult this website - where information will be placed as it becomes available - rather than to phone the office of the Commission.
