CanAmerica Travel ceased trading on 18 March 2009

The Commission for Aviation Regulation wishes to advise that CanAmerica Ltd, 67 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1 ceased trading on the 18th March 2009.

Customers who purchased overseas travel from the company during the period in which it held a licence, and who wish to check the status of their booking, are referred to the information update below (20 March 2009) and the contact details provided.

Customers who wish to claim refunds for any money that may not have been passed on to the suppliers listed below may do so from the Commission for Aviation Regulation: a claim form can be downloaded by clicking on this link.

• All USA bookings have been transferred to American Holidays, 18-19 Duke Street, Dublin 2
• The dedicated telephone number to call is (01) 642-7070
• American Holidays have been furnished with all booking details and a full account of monies paid by customers to CanAmerica
• American Holidays will contact each customer in the very near future regarding the continuation of their booking
