Survey of air-ground communication capabilities in General Aviation in Ireland
As part of a Regulatory Impact Assessment the IAA is conducting a survey of General Aviation operators, regarding the capabilities of the air-to-ground radios in use, and communications in/near/below the Dublin CTA.

1. To assess the number of 8.33 kHz spacing capable radios in use in aircraft in Ireland;
2. To assess the proliferation of portable Electronic Conspicuity (EC) devices in Ireland; and
3. To better understand any communication difficulties in/near/below the Dublin CTA (FIS 118.5 MHz).
