Registered Operators may login to their IAA MYSRS account and change their details, such as an address, at any time.

A European drone competence certificate is valid for five years from the date of issue, or until this possibly be cancelled by the authority.

If your name or address changes after registration, for example due to marriage or relocation, you can make this change yourself after logging in

If you lose your drone, please notify the IAA by sending a message using your MYSRS account. You will remain responsible for any drone with your operator ID affixed or electronically identified should it be subsequently used.

If your drone is stolen report, it to An Garda Síochána and then notify the IAA by sending a message using your MYSRS account.

Due to data protection legislation, it will not be possible for members of the public to obtain access to drone operator register data.

*Note: As per the new EU regulation, it is possible to identify if a drone operating in your vicinity is a registered operator and to record the drone operator ID number should you wish to notify concerns with the operation. This capability will become available across Europe as drone manufacturers transition to supplying drones compliant with the new EU regulation over the next two years.

No, your registration as a drone operator is a unique transaction that remains valid for two years, regardless of the amount of subsequent flying you do.

If your drone is no longer usable, there is no need to contact the IAA. Ensure you remove your operator ID and dispose of your old drones in an environmentally responsible manner.
