13th March 2014: The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has lit up the Air Traffic Control building at Dublin Airport in GREEN to proudly support the Global Greening 2014. Visible from the airport apron, the Air Traffic Control building is one of the first sites that visitors to Ireland see as they arrive over the St. Patrick’s weekend.

Illuminating the Air Traffic Control building green is the IAA’s way of getting into the fun spirit of St. Patrick’s Day and extends a warm welcome to the thousands of people that will transit through the nation’s busiest airport for the festival weekend.

The Global Greening has been an incredibly, successful phenomenon in the last few years and features such iconic sites as the Pyramids of Giza, the Empire State Building, the Sydney Opera House, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the London Eye.
