The Irish Aviation Authority provides air traffic management services to all aircraft landing and departing the three State airports of Dublin, Shannon and Cork. We also provide these services to 90% of all traffic that transits between Europe and North America. Statistics on these aircraft are detailed below.
We do not, however, keep passenger statistics. These statistics can be obtained from the relevant airport authorities.
The IAA publishes the following traffic movements:
A month by month comparision of en route, terminal and north atlantc communications flights for the current year and the corresponding month for the previous year.
A monthly breakdown of the traffic over the past four years for North Atlantic Communications Flights, En route Traffic and combined commercial traffic for Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.
Charts showing air traffic movements from 1997 to 2015 for total terminal commercial, North Atlantic Communications and en route traffic.
