Irish Aviation Authority Welcomes the Announcement by the US DOT to Approve NAI

Dec 3, 2016, 10:48 AM by Deirdre Forrest

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) warmly welcomed the announcement by the US DOT to approve Norwegian Air International’s (NAI) permit to operate on the Trans-Atlantic in accordance with EU/US OpenSkies Agreement. Eamonn Brennan, Chief Executive of the IAA welcomed the announcement by declaring, "This is a very welcome development. NAI are now safely operating close to 50 aircraft on the Irish register all across Europe and this decision will help NAI to open up the Trans-Atlantic to more consumers from more regions. We're looking forward to seeing NAI finally have the chance to compete on the Trans-Atlantic and commence their operations from Ireland in the future.”
