Nov 13, 2015, 00:13 AM by User Not Found

In view of the extensive impact on flight operations in Irish airspace of the Icelandic volcanic eruptions consultation has taken place between the UKCAA, Met Office personnel, engine and airframe manufactures, EASA and other European aviation authorities. The outcome is that agreed levels of contamination are defined to delineate a designated no-fly zone. Information on the co-ordinates of the no-fly zone will be promulgated by NOTAM. Guidance for operators is contained in OAM 10-10.
