Final Ireland-UK FAB Performance Plan for RP2 (2015-19) submitted to the European Commission

Nov 13, 2015, 00:11 AM by User Not Found

On the 27th June 2014 Ireland and the UK, as partners in a Functional Airspace Block, adopted and submitted to the European Commission a performance plan for the Reference Period of 2015-19 (RP2), which sets out targets for en-route and terminal air navigation services (ANS). This meets the requirements of the SES Performance Scheme, an EU initiative to improve the performance of ANS by setting EU level targets in the four key performance areas (KPAs) of safety, environment, capacity and cost efficiency. This performance plan has been jointly submitted by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport and its UK counterpart, the Department for Transport. The performance plan and other associated documentation has now been published by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, and can be viewed here.
