The IAA's navigation infrastructure is designed to provide our airline customers with a range of services, including:

  • Precision and non-precision approaches to runways at the three State airports of Dublin, Shannon and Cork.
  • A route structure to facilitate navigation through Irish-controlled airspace
  • Standard Instrument Departures (SIDs) and Standard Arrival (STARs) routes to and from the three State airports
  • Holds/stacks to manage aircraft arrivals
  • Instrument Runway Visual Range (IRVR) information.
