Maintenance Approvals

The following organisations have been granted special national approvals to carry out specific activities on behalf of the IAA. The full terms of their approval are set out in their individual expositions.

• Aerobatic & Classic Aeroplane Club of Ireland brienmolloy@gmail.com
• Society of Amateur Aircraft Constructers
• Hibernian Autogyro
• Irish Gliding and Soaring Association

The Aircraft listed below are in the categories listed in Annex II to the Basic Regulation 1592/2002 now repealed by Council Regulation (EC) 261/2008 are not affected by the EASA regulations and remain the subject of national regulations. The existing IAA arrangements will remain in place for the aircraft in the categories below:

• Amateur Built Aircraft
• Microlight
• Classic Aircraft
• Gyrocopters
